Hi,
I was endlessly intrigued by the shape of the cuff, shown in the opening credits on S1 and S2 as a hand reaches for a radio knob, because I've never seen a cuff like it with that curl of fabric looping out. It has been replaced by a slightly odd shaped bare arm in series 3.
Two questions -
1. Does anyone know what that style of cuff with the extra loop of fabric is called, and
2. Why has it been replaced? If it was a 1940s thing, couldn't they have replaced it with a 1960s sleeve for this series?
As it is, the bare arm looks like it's been photoshopped by a four year old! I used to love the opening credits, and I have to say it's spoiling them for me now
(but only mildly)
