She has a good head on her shoulders, and acts as a nice foil to her mother, who gives very little fcks about doing the "right thing" any point in time. I also feel bad for Alicia - her brother's drama always took priority over the fact that she tried to be a good daughter and sister, and she continues to be overlooked.
It's a good thing she left.
