On September 23, YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY won the Environmental Media Award for the outstanding use of environmental content in Reality Television. The award honored the YEARS episode “Collapse of the Oceans” starring correspondent Joshua Jackson. YEARS correspondents Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder presented the EMA, which was accepted by Executive Producers David Gelber and Joel Bach.
Since 1991, the Environmental Media Awards honor films and television productions that increase public awareness of environmental issues and inspire personal action on these issues.
