Since we can't fly anywhere due to the uncertainty of Teresa's job situation, because we wouldn't be able to book a flight on short notice, we'd go to Canyon Lake, which is near New Braunfels, Texas. The lake is beautiful, we can walk the Canyon Dam, and there are some really nice restaurants in the area and there's a bakery in New Braunfels that has some of the best baked goods that I've ever seen here in Texas.

Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes which is so nice. Everywhere you turn there's another lake. I love spending time outdoors when I can. It's so peaceful with great scenic beauty. I hope you guys get to go! Sounds so fun and relaxing.
