. That scene of them on the bus is iconic though, as heart breaking as it is. The way they look at each other as she gets off...like they both know it's over. Sniffle!
I still admire the fact that he went off and made something of himself and got his head together, without any help from rich parents or grandparents. He did it all on his own.
I just wish the handled their relationship differently, but then again I guess it adds to the tragedy and intensity of the whole situation.
