Hi Chris,
I first saw RUSH back in 1980 at Sryacuse Dome and believe it was Perment Waves album. I also over time saw them for songs from Moving Pictures, Signals, Grace Under Pressure and Power Windows. I also had vinyl albums for Fly by Night, Caress of Steel, 2112, A Farewell to kings and Hemispheres.
Now for me I had many of these albums first in vinyl, then in cassettes, and and now have them all in CD. After Power Windows they got away from Fantasy song lyrics, and got into high tech style and for me I stopped liking their songs.
Now as for families going together, that I have no idea for Rush. I have seen families go to YES, ASIA, and Pink Floyd.
