He did it to help her, to be her friend, and no other reason. That was just so sweet and so Dawson. I think she appreciated that as well. DJo had some bad moments/storylines but overall prefer their story/dynamic. They'll always be the heart of the show, imo.  Everyone is welcome to ship and let ship, but for me this show will always be about DJo. And the ending doesn't make any real sense to me but DJo felt like forever regardless. "In some strange way, it's always going to be you and me." "Always." Those are some powerful words and don't really evoke eternal friendship in my eyes. |
Totally Agree!!! DJ's soulmates was more than just friendship it was romantic in a special way! Ending was again just a fanbase decision or one or two person preference. The story is always DJ and if they followed that would of been a DJ ending. As well KW did have a script with DJ ending at first.
Was soo funny when watching one of the last PJ scenes in the finale and was saying DJ lines..hilarious! Always running away! yeah running away from Dawson!
I would of always felt better if they had an alternate ending on the DVD then can satisfy both couples.
Its always going to be DJ!! Still to this day its hard for me to pull out the DVD's for this reason! I sometimes pull out S1 and S2 but always back of my mind the ending ruined it for my to enjoy the whole series. If they just did it right like many TV shows with the main couple ending together I would be happy!
Anyway always still passionate about DJ forever! A couple like nothing seen on TV before that captured our hearts and that will never change! and is true!
