I remember reading that too, but I don't think his bitterness will be all that bad (people are speculating that he played apart in Emily's missing time). I do think he'll have his issues though. He was an alcoholic up until two years before Emily's return so I'd say him becoming an alcoholic played apart from Emily going missing, maybe a guilty feeling from being so jealous and bitter or something.

Here's the exact tweet I was talking about, it was others who brought up the shadiness but his caption is very intriguing...I'd almost say both to this. Now that she's back all of the attention will be on her and I do think his alcoholism may have stemmed from her missing and than him working to leave that dark hole and now she's back so it may all almost feel like a big waste to him.
