It was directly above the town where I live and it was so loud and the lightning was really bright.
There was also massive hail stones and bad flooding in Wales. I also read that there were more 150,000 lightning strikes in the UK in twelve hours.
It also chucked it down with rain this morning not long after I'd gotten to work, but it was a bit cooler.
When it comes to bad weather it's usually rain and flooding that is the most common.

I saw some flooding in the news. This is terrible.
It's usually us that experiences this so I find seeing this on the news surreal.
