It’s true that season 6 went well for a lot of characters, but considering what show we’re watching, we may not want to get used to it. “i think there is an optimism in 7, definitely at the start,” harington said. “at the end of 6, being crowned king in the north, there’s a small smile on his face.
He can start getting stuff done, and start trying to save people and protect people, and do what he’s been trying to do for ages. I mean, it’s maybe not optimism – the world’s ****ing ending!
With the end of the world crammed into seven episodes this year and only six in season 8, no character should feel safe, regardless of popularity.
