Aw, me too. I think a lot of fans dropped the show after Francis died, which isn't entirely deserved to be honest because in terms of writing seasons 3 and 4 were actually better than season 2, which had Francis in every episode. Besides, no love interest Mary ever got since could compete with Francis on any level, which was made quite clear both by the writing and the end we finally got. It's true that I haven't been as emotionally attached to Reign after it (or after season 2 actually) as I'd been before, but I did keep watching quite regularly. At least Francis's death was accurate, there was no escaping it. The real fault lies with some writing choices that were made and were just bad.
