I was 3 when that happened but because I have a ridiculously good memory, I remember this cause I was looking out the window of my house and watching the flakes of white ash falling on the road. Mom told me a big volcano exploded. And we were across the border in BC, Canada so that ashfall really went
far if it was falling where I was!
