I don't know. Maybe I'd still be watching for Emily but my threshold for dumb stuff is pretty low. The best example I can think of is One Tree Hill. Haley is one of my favourite characters of all time but the last couple of seasons lost me and she even had some really good material near the end. I will watch clips if I can find them and read recaps though.
That scene was absolutely beautiful. And I'm pretty sure he was lowkey caressing her hand with his thumb.
