I'd say about a 3 hour car journey, not sure by train as I've never gone that way. I was in Bournemouth, Dorset for a break and the people I was with wanted to find a biscuit factory! We got lost looking for it and ended up at West Quay and were like wait a minute isn't this where they filmed Broadchurch!
