I'm pretty sure I read somewhere they start filming 22nd of June. Could be wrong.
I agree with only watching for them. To be honest I'd skip all the other scenes and just go to theirs if I didn't want to follow the story lol

Hmmm....I can see them starting to shoot S2 in June with some marketing and campaigning for the show during San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). Considering that there are 20 eps. I believe they'll probably work from June-October...take a hiatus for the holidays and finish the rest of the season in January.
