Yes but I think it's more commonly used for anxiety which my dog has a severe case of with loud noises. I haven't gotten it yet. But for a year of heartworm medicine was $104 and 6 month flea and tick medicine was $114. And then $16 to cut his nails (which he badly needed and I'm too scared to do it myself) So his annual exam with his shot plus I did the 4 way test that test for heartworm, lyme disease and 2 other diseases caused my ticks was $85. Which one of the test looked liked it was trying to turn postiive but he said he wasn't clear enough to call it positiive. I forget which one it was but he said it wasn't serious and they don't usually do much for it as long as the dog is fine.

Medicine is expensive. I guess our medicine would be insanely expensive if not for insurance. But if you take the heart worm medicine it's really like $8-9 a month and $20 a month for the flea and tick one. Just seems like it's a lot because you're paying for it all upfront.
