I am not sure, if I am allowed to be in this thread. because I don't hate Jess. But I would really like to discuss, what future holds for Rory (will she be with Logan, will there be "her Max" or will she be with Jess). I could leave, if you want.

Bedroom incident with Jess and Rory could lead into the horrible direction. But it only lasted a few seconds. And Amy Sherman Palladino never acknowledged that incident again. So, I interpret it as a Jess's step into wrong direction, but Jess's self-control and Jess's decency still managed to prevent the worst. It doesn't make it ok though, but... I liked Jess very much in previous episodes, before this incident even happened. I sympathized with his difficult childhood. He is always on the brink...

IMO Dean was definitively Rory's sweetest and kindest boyfriend (Although he became quite jealous in latter seasons). But they were too young. She would always ask herself: "What have I lost?" It was just simply too early.
