I think S1 finale was too soon to get them together, and then they broke up way too soon. They just were never together long enough to be taken seriously as a couple IMO. I'm with you on this one. And I never felt DJ had a strong romantic connection. Their connection was based more on friendship and family than anything else, but you can't deny they had a strong bond, just not a strong romantic bond. I really liked their friendship and they were there for each other when they needed each other most which was sweet.
