It just seemed like a lot of her storylines revolved around her being really annoyed when something good was happening to someone else. Like with the pageant in 1x10, she was annoyed that Magnolia was going to win even though she didn't care about that kind of thing at all - & in 2x03 she wanted to outdo a girl because she was going to a concert or something. It just made her seem kinda petty that she was always making herself out to be a victim just because other people were happy
I wish one of her storylines had been about her learning that she doesn't need to be so competitive with other girls, & that she can't control what happens to other people so she just needs to enjoy her own life.
