I was no where near their ages, and yet still something about them was real. Magic. I came to the show during Blood Brothers, and watched really hardcore later on in the season and found fan fiction during the summer, and then presto, I was sold. Especially on Max and Liz.
My love for Michael and Maria who were my second couple came with time, especially watching Independence Day.
But yeah, it was a interesting time if you watched it live at the time. But then it means something that people picked it up over the last fifteen years, and loved it in it's own way once the show was off the air...
It was a unique show.
