With the closing of the 24 board today after 12 years ,wanted to start a discussion about 24 Legacy or 24 series .
The continuation of the classic Kiefer Sutherland series, 24, the new series will consist of 12 episodes that will take place in “real-time,” which will eventually span across a day (like in 24: Live Another Day, where the finale forwarded twelve hours).
The action series will centre on U.S. Army Sergeant Eric Carter (played by Corey Hawkins, “Straight Outta Compton”), whose team killed terrorist leader Sheik Ibrahim Bin-Khalid six months ago in Yemen. In the aftermath, Bin-Khalid’s followers have declared a fatwah against the elite squad which forced them and their families into witness protection. Somehow, the followers have managed to catch up with Eric and he ends up contacting former CTU director Rebecca Ingram (Miranda Otto, Homeland) to help.
The series also stars Jimmy Smits (NYPD Blue), Teddy Sears (The Flash), Dan Bucantinsky (Scandal), Anna Diop (Quantico), Ashley Thomas (The Night Of), Charlie Hofmeier (Mad Men), Coral Pena (Blue Bloods), Gerald McRaney (This Is Us), Raphael Acloque (“Burnt”), Sheila Vand (“Whiskey Tango Foxtrot”). TV fans will also recognize Tyrant’s Moran Atias, Finding Carter’s Kathryn Prescott and As the World Turns’ Bailey Chase.

First season of the reboot is up to ep 6 airs Monday nights at 8 pm on Fox/ 8pm also airs on City in Canada 8 pm and started airing in UK 2 weeks ago.
