Im sad that they didnt give D/A much in the last few seasons of the show. Even in the finale Alaric seemed annoyed that Caroline wanted to help Stefan with Damon. Even though Alaric told Bonnie later that of course he cared about Damon, it jsut didnt feel genuine. I think this bond and friendship is the one part of the show that truly disappointed me in the last seasons, it just sucks it wasnt given more care and attention.
