Indeed. What's nice about this relationship is that it's about much more than music. Deep down, they encourage each other on a variety of things -- Archie's confidence, Valerie's friendships, Archie's choices, to name a few.
And as I mentioned on the episode thread, he's already sacrificing for her. I liked how he wanted to put Valerie first by walking away from the duet.
The kissing scene was nice. Completely believable.
