^Their scenes (Damon/Kai/Bonnie) were funny (loved Kai trying to get out of Damon's car) but they were hard to enjoy b/c you are right--Damon is still so immature when it comes to Elena and I didn't like how he was being selfish essentially when it comes to Bonnie. Damon keeps acting like he'll do anything to be with Elena, and of course Elena wants to be with him too, but the Elena I know wouldn't want that to be at the expense of others, right? Elena would rather he not kill people, let serial killers like Kai out of hell, etc. I loved how Kai called Damon out on this ("Do it for El---e-n-a") and although he's right that one more bad act won't make a big difference, the fact that Damon is still willing to do things "for" Elena at others' expense shows he still has a long way to go. This means he still has a long way to go when it comes to his relationship with Bonnie too. She still won't be able to fully trust him and I don't know how it will change in a few episodes.
