But I can see no possible happy ending for him without Rayna. Certainly not in the span of this series. After all these years of wanting to be with Rayna, they get married and probably don't make it to their first anniversary. He's going to have a half finished album with her. Nope nope nope. It's all just depressing as hell. And nope.
Added to that Maddie is insufferable enough without a dead mom
