That is a tough one.
In WIAWSNB they got to be raised together with both parents, Mary got so many more years with John, Sammy got to go to law school, Jessica was still alive and going to be Sam's wife, etc. But Dean clearly wasn't living up to his potential and not showing the world what he could be.
In IATL Dean had something go right in his childhood that he got to grow up with enough confidence to be proud of his own choice of music and car and style of dress and types of food and become Head of Sales in a company. But the boys weren't brothers and Sam wasn't living up to his potential.
I don't know which to pick.
