1. Whiteout (2009) 3/5
Nifty little thriller that's good to watch when it's cold outside.
2. Bedazzled (2000) 3/5
Really fun movie with a nice message.
3. My Blueberry Nights (2007) 3/5
Indie drama about the pain of love.
4. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016) 2/5
Just too silly. Matt Smith is a delight though.
5. My Best Friend's Wedding (1997) 4/5
Can't believe this film is 20 years old. Really love it.
6. The Duff (2015) 4/5
I wasn't expecting much from this but I loved it! Great script.
7. Russell Brand from Addiction to Recovery (2012) 3/5
Interesting documentary about addiction and how much more could be done to help addicts.
8. Dior and I (2014) 4/5
I adore fashion documentaries because the craftsmanship behind the clothes is phenomenal. People dismiss fashion, the arts, anything creative so swiftly, and I really think it is the closest to being truly alive that a person can be.
9. Arrival (2016) 4/5
Fantastic.
10. And the Oscar Goes To... (2014) 3/5
I don't know how insightful it was but I enjoyed it.
11. La La Land (2016) 4/5
I thought it was a bit derivative but it went in an interesting direction.
12. Fury (2014) 2/5
Not a bad film, just really not my thing.
13. Basic Instinct (1992) 3/5
So trashy but enjoyable.
14. Pentatonix: On My Way Home (2015) 3/5
Really just skimmed the surface but these guys are so talented.
15. The Interview (2014) 3/5
Not exactly a mature comedy, but some parts are really funny.
16. Manchester by the Sea (2016) 3/5
It was a sad film.
17. The Purge: Anarchy (2014) 3/5
Really effective thriller, particularly because the premise behind it is so strong.
