I'm glad I wasn't the only one to notice the double meaning of the scene. I was reading this article where someone said "and, honestly, if I saw an ex-girlfriend at the market 10 years later and she looked longingly at me as Rory looked at Dean, I'd feel sorry for her". Not that I would, but apparently I wasn't the only one to notice a certain longing in Rory's words. That scene is so confusing! You either get over it(as she quickly stated about first loves), or you still wish you had had another chance with him(which was what she basically said later). So although a lot of people took it as "oh, she's so over it", I took it as more of a "she's over not being able to be with him, but she still wishes she could be somehow".
