Yes it was great how they presented the Tristan situation in Spring.

I love how they made it where it could be interpreted that it looked like Tristan and Paris freaked out in true Paris fashion without really looking at the facts. You even felt that Rory was not convinced it was him but went on with Paris rant.
"Was that Tristan out there?" a doe-eyed Rory asks.
"Of course it was Tristan! That pouty mouth, those liquid eyes, who else?!" Paris snaps. Yes, we're currently asking “Who else?” that man is too.
It was great that Tristian got mentioned and it was a very well played moment by Daniel and Amy to deal with the situation of CMM of not having him.
Liza talking about not having Chad but how the made the scene fit and left you guessing if it was really him in the scene in the Chilton hallways and how it triggered Paris melt down.
