He was a bit cold (in the last scene too) which was weird because he was nice before (well, he did have that "nice guy" scene about her speaking with Alex). I think the purpose was to have something that brought Jo to tell Alex, while also giving us some Jo/Andrew scenes (though it didn't do the "ship" much favors)

Yeah, other than the scene with Arizona, we've seen people are still on Alex's side. They've mostly been showing Alex's side (which, I sort of get, because he's an original character and he usually gets shafted in the SL/ST department) and Andrew, the victim and Jo, the domestic violence victim have been getting almost nothing next to the guilty part.
