I think she'd be in college now. And being the brain that she is, unless she went to Yale, she wouldn't be in the area? And Luke only got to see her a few times a year. I don't know. I think she's a big part of Luke's life but they just don't see each other much? So it would make sense she would have her own life.
It all really depends on those years before she went off to college, after the show ended. If for some reason she lived with Luke for an extended time or whatever, that might change things.
