Yeah, Virgil sounds like a piece of work. I was looking through the Nanny Dearest (from season 8) thread on another board I'm on and one of the posters said they were surprised they liked the episode because Virgil doesn't usually write women well.

Already seeing that Thomas /Hotch is away on assignment as of episode two , really hard to take . despite knowing he's gone from the Show long before the season started. Still doesn't make his exit any easier. As I post this I am watching the "JJ" ep. Despite having seen it many times it is still sad .
For everything that he's put into the show he deserves a proper goodbye . No matter how he is written out of the show , a proper goodbye look back would be nice .
It should be for the fans of agent Hotchner not the Studio/network decision to just quietly remove him .

I agree, Matt. I think Hotch deserves a proper send off. But instead he'll just be gone and we'll probably just get a quick mention here and there.
Matt, have you heard anything specific about Hotch being gone from episode 2 other than the speculation going around?
