Remember when they dated briefly? I don't think I've ever given it too much thought because obviously it didn't hurt their friendship in the long run but I felt bad for both of them at that point, especially Ellie. I was sad for her when Ashley told her they were perfect for each other, but that turned out to be true just not in the way she was hoping.
