Kelly was horrible to Brenda in the second half of S4, but she was still alright that season in general.

I am quite intrigued by what all those people who say Brenda was not nice mean by "nice". I guess for them it is the same as polite. Well I think Brenda was polite in general, but when she was angry, she did not choose her words, and she could be rude and offensive. But she was direct and honest about it. On the other hand, Kelly was not that offensive to people's faces (or at least her lines were not so memorable), but she was throwing shade and talk behind people's back, and always avoided direct confrontation as much as she could. The way both girls handled Emily Valentine is a perfect example of such differences.
