Wow! See? Honestly, I think a sudden sense of depression and irrelevance may have helped push that along.

I watched the pilot of "Free Spirit". Here's the premise: Every 100 years, dead/immortal witches must come down to do community service with the living. The littlest son wishes her into existence because dad doesn't have time for him.

She's not allowed to tell Adults (aka, the dad) the truth about who she is. He thinks she's the new housekeeper. They develop a little crush on each other too, but she's really attached to the kids (in like a day).

You might recall her catchphrase, "Not necessarily …", before she magically transforms a given circumstance.

It's pretty bad. I loved reading the comments. "That was horrible. And somehow I wound up enjoying it anyway. I think I might be broken ..." "Jee-zuss". "This show sucks".

It's very ... "Small Wonder" meets "Out of this World", divided by the movie "Prelude to A Kiss".
