I rewatched some scenes from S5 ending and David is really a crappy step-brother to Kelly in it. He and Clare conclude Kelly is a lesbian so he does not discuss that with his step-sister but goes to her ex to tell it to him with a sleazy smile. Then when Kelly is jokingly more reluctant to forgive him than Clare for spreading rumors about her being a lesbian he makes a lame joke "So you ARE into girls after all." Haha, **** off. Show was somewhat homophobic at that point, and David was lame.
