So a topic it seems going around at least on ESPN is if Magic Johnson's Lakers team from the 1980's that included Kareem, Byron, Scott, James Worthy, & Mychal Thompson among others on it would win a 7 game series vs. these Golden St. Warriors. I think they would have as good a chance as any other team would. It would be interesting to see them try to keep pace with Warriors jump shooting.
I was also listening to them talk about Allen Iverson & how he practically ''carried'' the 76ers to the NBA Finals in 2001. What gets forgotten is that the 76ers also had Dikembe Mutombo whom is in the Basketball Hall of Fame. They also had a great Head Coach in Larry Brown. as great that Allen Iverson was that was his only NBA Finals appearance.
