They can always say 'we will see' or 'we have no plans for this right now' or 'we never thought about that. Sounds fun'. It would be better than keep people hoping for something they don't plan to do. If you say 'absolutely', 'next season' or 'in the second half of the season' you are making promises, and that is something they should not *do* unless they plan to keep it.
