Yeah great shows get canned all the time. Ratings don't really work now considering Netflix, Amazon Prime, streaming, dvrs, etc. People aren't watching tv the same way they used to. People seem to be more vocal on blogs, twitter, tumblr, and fan forums like this one than anything to do with ratings anymore.
