I have no specific desire regarding the plot machinations of these final few episodes. As long as things ring emotionally true, that is all I can ask.
Last night's episode did just that for Diane and Kurt. I mean, in just a couple of scenes we were reassured that those two are for keeps and that whatever happens in Diane's professional life, it will not be the sum total of her identity. She has this whole other world with Kurt that makes her feel valued, sexy, and an equal. We have seen her spend 7 seasons going up against what have basically been testosterone-driven power struggles, so I am supremely satisfied with where she is in her life now.
