Yes! When they were rehearsing the end scene - where scully runs to mulder and miller - she initially ran up, swung the car door open and kissed his face/cheek. Which would seem like a realistic response to your love and friend literally dying before your eyes, but of course Chris put the kibosh on it. Immediately after rehearsals, they had a huddle with Chris, the camera’s rolled, and she didn’t kiss him again. Although she was concerned-doctoring him, touching his face all over, which they also cut. Sigh.
