Phoebe Cates was a popular actress in the 80s (and a favorite among the males) who is best known for her work in the 1982 high school classic, "Fast Times At Ridgemont High", and the Christmas horror-comedy classic, "Gremlins".
Her other 80s films include "Paradise", "Private School", "Date With An Angel", "Bright Lights, Big City", "Shag" and "Hart Of Dixie". She also starred in the 84/85 mini-series, "Lace".
She made a few films in the 90s like "Gremlins 2", "Drop Dead Fred", "Bodies, Rest & Motion" and "Princess Caraboo", before stepping out of the limelight to be a mom and a wife to actor Kevin Kline.
