Alexa, I love the pilot. The whole pool scene is super steamy. I totally agree Casey would have picked a random if she didn't have some feelings for Cappie.
You're so right that Frannie pointing out Casey shouldn't lose everything because of Evan's indiscretion. That's a really valid point depending on what you value and what you really want.
Rebecca and Evan were pretty awful in the first few episodes and very unlikeable. I'm glad they ended up developing the characters into good guys.
