There was so much potential with Liv/Luke, Liv/Luke/Jo, Liv/Kai, Luke/Kai, Jo/Kai, Liv/Luke/Joshua, Jo/Joshua, Kai/Joshua, not to mention the mysterious mother. So of course they all had to die.
