I don't understand. You do know this is the highest compliment she can pay him, right? Out of all the people on the planet, she CHOSE him worthy to be the father of her children. It's a term of endearment. It's one of the most beautiful things she can say about him. They created life together (and chose to nurture another life together - Zola's).

Whenever my mom says something funny or does something amazing, my dad always says, "That's the mother of my children right there."

I'm so happy she says this! Good for her.
