Yeah in real life it's realistic for things to develop fast, but in tv shows I loooooove really long build ups
that's the most fun for me when shipping couples, once they actually get together it's often a bit... 'okay now what'?
It'll be interesting to see if they have crossed paths during the hiatus. I kind of think Lincoln went off to do his own thing, and then they'll contact him cause they need him and he'll be reluctant to get involved at first.
