she doesn't need to be a regular. they'll probably hook them up fast, like in a 1-2 episode arc (maybe she's rescued by him or something) and then have them be solidly together, so that when Linda's not around, she's still Wally's girlfriend who shows up once in a while.
i feel sure that if they do it, that's the way it'll happen, so that it doesn't really have to have much focus.
