You're not crazy. Listening to this song set off some definite bells. I can't pinpoint a scene where it played in the show and there may not be any evidence for that (though I think it did play) ... but then it hit me. This song played over the ending credits at some point! Years of playing back VHS tapes long ago must've left an impression. I get a giddy sensation like it's "BH90210 night" while listening to the song again now, lol. You always remember that spot where the song trailed off and ceased to become audible.
It also shares a certain similarity to Hi-Five's
"What Your Love Means to Me", off the the College Years soundtrack, with most of those tracks having played during the credits in S5.
