to your post. =) His story was unfinished at the end of season three. I wanted him to come back just so I could see Luke and Rory deal with his sudden return.
I liked the episodes for the most part, but like you said, I too could have enjoyed a few more pleasant moments between Jess/Luke and Jess/Rory. You're right when you say that neither bond was really at the point where pleasant moments would have really worked. I still wanted them though.
I've always been greedy when it comes to Jess' post-season three episodes. It never seemed like there was enough of Jess.
