The scene between them in 6.22 was the best scene of their friendship since probably Season 2. For once Elena wanted to do this for Bonnie, sacrifice her years for Bonnie and not want Bonnie to feel guilty for it.
They'll both get to live their lives, just sadly not at the same time. It's really tragic. I loved Elena telling Bonnie to do her magic feathers just one more time!
I know for sure that was Maurice favorite scene of Bonnie/Elena. When Bonnie showed Elena she can truly do magic, what a great throwback.
